Developed and implemented a crisis response plan for a leading marketing organization concerning catalog gift promotions to consumers. The plan identified resources, skills, methods, procedures and controls necessary to manage a backlog in the customer fulfillment effort for the Marlboro Adventure Team promotion. Assisted with selection of staff for a new fulfillment organization.
Developed a simulation model to forecast shipping delays in fulfilling a backlog of customer orders based on inventory receipt schedules, shipping capacities, reshipping factors and age of the orders. Model was used to send delay letters to customers including a forecast of shipping dates by item on orders. Alan Haesche is managing partner and co-founder of Leetes Island Enterprises, LLC. He brings over 20 years of experience in the information technology, and telecommunications industries as a former senior executive with a telecommunications company.

Mr. Haesche holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana with a major in Chemistry, Physics and Biology and a minor in Math. He also completed the Systems Design Program in operations research, simulation, probability and statistics at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business; the Harvard Business School Program for Managing the Data Processing Function; the Dartmouth Institute Humanities Program at Dartmouth College and the Institute for Information Studies at the Aspen Institute.
